LONDON (Reuters) - Britain’s Office for National Statistics said it would delay the release of some productivity data due on Wednesday, and would publish them as soon as possible.

“The ONS is delaying some elements normally contained in tomorrow’s productivity publication, including labour productivity and experimental multi-factor productivity estimates to give further time to review and analyse a complex dataset,” it said in a statement.

Provisional estimates in August showed a 3.0% annual fall in output per hour worked in the second quarter, and a 22% drop in output per worker, reflecting widespread furloughing.
