ColourPop Penny Pincher, Tried and True, On a Roll Lux Liquid Lip - 2 minutes read

Penny Pincher

ColourPop Penny Pincher Lux Liquid Lip is a light-medium pinky-coral with warm undertones and a satin finish. It appeared lighter applied than initially swatched. The texture was thin, very fluid, which made it spreadable across my lips, but there was a bit of product that settled into my deeper lip lines. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that wore well for four hours on me and felt neither drying nor hydrating.

Tried and True

ColourPop Tried and True Lux Liquid Lip is a medium, coppery-brown with warmer, more orange undertones and a satin sheen. The finish dried down to more of a satin/semi-matte finish and took about a half hour to get to a more matte, transfer-resistant finish. The texture was lightweight, thin, and very spreadable, and the wand delivered medium, buildable pigmentation in one layer. It stayed on nicely for four and a half hours and was non-drying.

On a Roll

ColourPop On a Roll Lux Liquid Lip is a deep red with warmer undertones and a satin finish. It had a light dry down to more of a semi-matte finish, which eventually wore down to a fully matte, more transfer-resistant finish (about an hour of wear). The texture was very lightweight, spreadable, and thin but delivered nearly opaque coverage in a single layer (but it was supposed to be buildable!). It stayed on well for five hours and felt non-drying over time.
