With approximately 40 million yearly visitors (pre-pandemic, with the number drastically climbing afterwards), the Nevada-based city is well renowned for its party atmosphere and is sometimes referred to as the entertainment center of the United States. It has undoubtedly earned this distinction.

There is a lot more to enjoy besides Texas Hold’em and the slots, though many visitors go there to do so. There are also several pool parties, live music events, DJs, and some of the best hotel suites in the nation. There are plenty of activities to enjoy day or night, indoors or outdoors, whether you’re traveling with family, friends, a significant other, or just yourself. Las Vegas casinos do an excellent job of welcoming its visitors in the most opulent of settings. Of course, there are a variety of hotel options to fit a variety of budgets, but if you want to go all out on your vacation to Sin City, here is one location to do it. The giant resorts of The Strip and beyond compete to give their visitors something unique and more luxury than the next, so if you have a good money to spend, there are a variety of top-notch villas and suites to choose from.

Old favorites such as the Bellagio, Caesars Palace, The Venetian, The Palazzo, and Wynn are sure to please, while newer additions such as the Waldorf Astoria, Sahara, Virgin Hotels and Resorts World, and anticipated openings such as the long-awaited Fontainebleau and Durango, both of which are set to open in 2023, provide a diverse range of options. Fine dining restaurants are among the many on-site eateries, as are top-of-the-line spas, in-house entertainment, and, of course, enormous casino floors.

A vacation to Las Vegas simply wouldn’t be complete without stopping by a few casinos. Celebrate the city’s beginnings by having a little fun at the gaming tables, the slot machines, or by putting a wager at a nearby sportsbook to see if your luck holds up. The Italian-themed casino floor The Luxor Resort and Casino, which has an Egyptian theme, has a massive 120,000 square foot casino floor where you can while away the hours.

The Venetian is undoubtedly worth a visit. Want to try your luck at the slots, the roulette table, or a game of poker? According to Las Vegas Weekly, The Mirage has “the greatest poker room in Vegas,” while the New York, New York Hotel and Casino has 1,500 slots and 67 gaming tables and Caesar’s Palace’s poker area alone is 4,500 square feet. With the impending Fontainebleau and Durango casinos, as well as the Horseshoe hosting the World Series of Poker, there’s much to see and do if you want to try your luck.

As previously said, there is much more to do in Las Vegas than sit in a casino all day, which is incredibly simple to do given the lack of clocks and windows at the city’s gambling businesses! Visitors go to Las Vegas to be entertained, and the highly anticipated MSG Sphere, which is likely to cost more than $2 billion when completed and is set to open in 2023, will be a futuristic-looking hub for music and entertainment.

Las Vegas is also known for its residencies, and several well-known musicians will be visiting the city in 2023. From Adele at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum to Barry Manilow at the International Westgate Theater and Bruno Mars at Dolby Live at Park MGM, to Katy Perry, Usher, Donny Osmond, Maroon 5, and Rod Stewart, there will be a big-name performer to fit everyone’s taste in music.
