BJ the Chicago Kid and producer Yeti Beats have joined forces to release their collaborative album titled “Gravy.” The album marks the inaugural release from Yeti Beats’ newly established label, Reach The World Records, in collaboration with RCA Records.

“Gravy” serves as a homage to the genres of pop and soul, embodying a genuine love letter to these musical styles. Recorded at the renowned Royal Studios in Memphis, Tennessee—hallowed ground for soul legend Al Green—the album was produced with a live band. The soulful vibes of Al Green from the ’70s significantly influenced the overall sonic identity of the project.

A standout track on the album is “Never Change,” featuring the iconic Philip Bailey of Earth, Wind & Fire. Additionally, the single “Spend the Night” features Coco Jones, adding to the album’s diverse and dynamic lineup.

BJ the Chicago Kid’s participation in “Gravy” marks his first full-length release since his 2019 album, “1123.” The collaboration with Yeti Beats and the launch of Reach The World Records signify a new chapter in the artist’s career, showcasing a fusion of R&B, pop, and soul influences.
