Tom Ford Dark Opulence Eyeshadow Quad - 2 minutes read

Dark Opulence

Tom Ford Beauty Dark Opulence Eye Color Quad was a letdown. Two of the colors were a nightmare to work with since they were so transparent and had such a dark, blackish foundation that the sheerness combined with the texture made them nearly hard to blend out.

Ingredients

Dark Opulence #1

Dark Opulence #1 has a matte texture and is a medium peach with warmer, more orange-leaning overtones.

Semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation
Finely-milled, lightly powdery, prone to sheering out a bit
Blended out evenly but best over a primer to minimize sheerness/fallout
Average-wearing (7.5 hours)

Dark Opulence #2

Dark Opulence #2 is a dark teal with overtones of coolness and a silky shine.

Semi-sheer pigmentation, hard to build up
Lightly emollient but firmer, thinner texture
Hard to apply evenly, did not blend out well

Dark Opulence #3

Dark Opulence #3 is a satin finish blackened navy blue with powerful, chilly undertones.

Semi-sheer pigmentation, hard to build up
