Let's start with everyone's favorite, food. As you know, what you eat and drink determines your immunity, so here's a list of food and drinks that'll help boost that immunity from normal to super.

- Meats. Beef contains zinc. At times, a person may develop a cold because of zinc deficiency. In addition, beef contains a hefty amount of protein. Add eggs and fish to your diet as well. A diet of variable of meats will bring various cultures to your palette.
- Fruit. The natural energy booster is more than just exquisite taste throughout the day. Citrus fruit like grapefruits and oranges are good sources for Vitamin C. Add a lemon or lemon juice to what you eat or drink. The sour, citrus properties can fight off those bacteria and toxin that cause the common cold or flu.
- Drink. Sport drinks, tea, and water are ideal drinks that can speed up recovery after a workout or boost immunity during the flu season. Combined with exercise, sport drinks happen to give your body an extra boost of energy with potassium, sodium, and electrolytes. Tea, like tomato, is an antioxidant. Add lemon and honey doubling the effect of the herbal drink. And of course water is the "go-to" substance to keep your bodily functions regular and hydrated.
Putting your body to work also helps immunity. Has a stuffy nose remained stuffy while walking or jogging? Not likely. The same applies to the body even before a cold or flu comes about. Work the body consistently to burn out unhealthy fat and toxin.
Finally, be sure to get sufficient amount of sleep. Many fall ill because they're not getting proper sleep. The body needs at least seven to eight hours of sleep. Some work schedules require many hours; however, make adjusts to your sleep pattern to avoid the looming danger of the flu.
