There is no scarcity of images on the web, but not all are created equal. Most of the pictures floating around online are of very inferiority. As a designer, you would like to be ready to take the typical PNG or JPG image and switch it into a high-quality, vector graphic. Select a picture 

Select a picture you would like to convert to vector. Single-subject images typically convert to vector files more smoothly than images with multiple subjects. You’ll even have better luck if the image features a fairly low resolution and transparent or white background.

Duplicate the Image

Create a drawing duplicate of the image using the Image Trace tool. you'll use the replicated image to make your vector. to try to do this, open and choose the image in Illustrator. Then, select either Low Fidelity Photo or hi-fi Photo from the dropdown menu located next to Image Trace. Separate Color Groups

Start by selecting the image you only traced, then clicking the Expand button (located at the highest of the Illustrator window). Now, once you select your image, it should be surrounded by a blue outline.

Edit Your Image

Now that your image may be a vector, you'll edit it as desired. Delete color shapes or modify color groups to realize the design you would like.

Save Your Image

There are many formats you'll use when saving your image as a vector, including EPS, SVG, AI, and PDF. Choose the file type you would like, then attend your File menu, select Export, then Export As, and enter the title of your file.
