Luckily, I belong to a family where my parents used to tell lots of stories about Helping Needy People, Kindness, Karma, and all. And I believe what we see and understand when we are little influence us all our lives. Money is never a barrier for people who wants to help someone, a small gesture can mean so much to other people that we don't realize.

A few years ago, I was on my way to catch the college bus at dawn. And I was desperately driving fast because I was running late than usual. I saw a senior citizen asking for a lift. I tend to ignore him and reach the destination as soon as possible but somehow I couldn't. So, I stopped there. He showed me a card that contained his name, address, and the fact that he was deaf and dumb.I am not good at indication plus I do not get someone's message by signals easily. But that day I pretty much got what he was trying to convey.

I noticed that he was not able to walk properly. Also, He was asking me to drop him off at a walkable distance. So, I gave him a ride and he gave me blessings.

The story does not end here. Some weeks later, I was going on the same path. And I saw him at the place I dropped him earlier and I naturally stopped there. He recognized me. I offered him a ride, but he refused as he wanted to go in another direction at that time.

He showed me dairy which he was carrying with himself. He wrote all vehicle numbers and the name of the person that helped him. There was my number too. He asked me to write down my name next to my vehicle number if I was comfortable with it. So, I wrote 'JP' stands for Jainee Patel. He thanked me and I left.

This incident made me realize how much a small ride can matter to someone. And there are many other nice things we can do to others.Lots of Dirty things going around us that stops us from doing anything nice to someone. But some people genuinely seek our help and please do not ignore them.Things we do for others without expecting anything back are so peaceful. Hence, You can help yourself by helping others.
