While the recent Spring 2024 ready-to-wear collections may still be fresh in our minds, Christian Dior is taking us on a journey back to the extraordinary artistry of the Fall 2023 haute couture collections from July. The unveiling of a behind-the-scenes video offers a captivating look into the Dior ateliers, allowing us to witness the immense craftsmanship and creativity that went into Maria Grazia Chiuri’s 14th couture collection as creative director.

In this over 20-minute video, we see the Dior artisans at the peak of their craft, meticulously handcrafting each look for Chiuri’s collection, which draws inspiration from archetypal elements: the tunic, the peplum, the cape, and the stole, all influenced by the mythology and goddesses of the ancient world. The collection features a dreamy and subdued color palette of white, beige, silver, and pale gold, as models elegantly showcase the 66 distinctive looks against a backdrop adorned with the artwork of Marta Roberti.
