Candice and David Warner gave birth in the Lindo Wing where Kate Middleton's children were born

Candice and David Warner welcomed their third daughter at the exclusive Lindo Wing where Kate Middleton gave birth to her three children.

The Australian cricketer and his former iron woman wife were spotted entering the luxurious facility at London's St Mary's Hospital ahead of the birth of their daughter, Isla Rose.

They now join the likes of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Diana who also chose to welcome their children to the world at the $11,000-a-night wing.

A heavily-pregnant Candice was spotted lugging her suitcase up the stairs and into the facility hours before she gave birth.

The Australian batsman sported a grey cap and washed out jeans as he glanced at his mobile phone, while his wife opted for casual active wear and her hair tied back in a messy bun.

Kate Middleton gave birth to all three of her children in the Lindo Wing, famously stepping out for waiting media looking poised just hours after delivery.

Amal Clooney also gave birth at the exclusive venue, which offers parents champagne to toast their new arrivals. 

The Warners took to social media to welcome newborn Isla Rose on Monday night (AEST).

She has already been dubbed a 'princess' due to the location of her birth, and is enjoying the spoils of having two older sisters in two-year-old Ivy Mae and four-year-old Indi Rae.     

'Welcome to the world our gorgeous Isla Rose Warner,' the doting parents said in a post on Instagram. 

'Born June 30th at 10.30pm. Our little family is now complete. Ivy and Indi are so proud of their sister.' 

David also shared a post of his wife and three daughters, saying Candice was 'absolutely amazing' during the birth.

'Mum and bubs are both doing very well and her big sisters are over the moon,' he wrote.

Ivy and Indi looked every bit the doting big sisters Candice and David described, cuddling up to their mother and new sister and smiling from ear-to-ear in both pictures. 

Candice paid tribute to her husband in her post introducing Isla to the world as well, praising David for his support through the birth. 

He was spotted making a quick escape from Lord's in London on Saturday after Australia beat New Zealand at the World Cup to be by his wife's side.

Warner's teammate Mitchell Starc confirmed the former Australia vice captain 'packed his bag pretty quickly' after the match. 

Candice followed her husband to the UK to support him during his first World Cup since he was unceremoniously dumped from the Australian squad for cheating. 

She was induced in London on Sunday, reportedly to ensure they third time parents could maximise David's seven day break before next week's clash.

David will stay in London for the next few days to spend quality time with his growing brood before heading to Manchester ahead of the final group clash against South Africa on July 6. 

With The Ashes series to follow the World Cup, Isla Rose will spend the first three months of her life in London.

'Our preparation (for South Africa) starts when I get back to Manchester,' David said last week.

'I've got a great, supportive wife, a great family base at home as well.

'We've got great support around us, the guys here have been fantastic, they've really got around me at this important time for my family.

'But my wife, as selfless as she is, cricket's priority and winning games for Australia and that's what we're trying to do.'

Isla's birth comes after David expressed his excitement at becoming a third time father, and shared intimate details of he and Candice's struggles in the past 12 months.

The couple suffered two miscarriages in the time David served his ban for his role in the ball-tampering scandal in March 2018.

Warner said the personal and family heartache had changed his outlook in his time away from cricket.

'Yeah definitely (gives it all perspective),' Warner said.

'It was unfortunate we had the two miscarriages during that time and we would have had one (baby) before this.

'The stats are there, one in four I think it is.'

He has made a stunning return to cricket since the ban was lifted this year.

The batsman became the first to score two 150+ scores in the Cricket World Cup after scoring 166 runs against Bangladesh on June 20.
