Cambridge Audio introduces Melomania 1 True Wireless Headphones
True wireless seems to be the lifestyle catchphrase for 2019 with Brit hifi legend Cambridge Audio even coining it for their new IPX5-certified (sweat and water protection for the sport inclined or weather challenged) Melomania 1 IEMs.
Designed to work with laptops, tablets, portable audio players and smartphones, the Melomania 1 – named after the live music venue on the ground floor of Cambridge Audio’s London R&D centre – features Bluetooth 5.0, AAC and aptX codec technology with a touted wireless range of up to 30 metres, the Melomania boasts a pocket-sized recharging case good for a claimed four charges and features graphene in its 5.8mm driver diaphragms.
What about noise cancelling, you ask? Boasting high quality microelectro-mechanical systems (MEMS) microphones and Qualcomm’s Clear Voice Capture (cVc) noise-cancelling technology, the Melomania has got you covered on that front too.
Weighing in at just 4.6 grams per transducer, available in black or stone color, the Melomania comes with both silicone and memory foam ear tips to accommodate fine-tailoring of ear-canal fit to ensure an ideal combination of comfort/snugness and noise isolation/sealing to help ensure the best frequency response possible.
