I Need a Nude

Natasha Denona I Need a Nude 15-Pan Small Eyeshadow Palette is a new, permanent neutral palette that leaned somewhat warm-toned (more of a rose/peach undertone throughout) with a few neutral-toned tones that gave the color story a desaturated appearance without being too light or washed out. The quality was equal to previous ND offerings, albeit this palette contains more glittering colours than is customary for a palette, so individuals who like smoother finishes may find this too flashy.

Ingredients

Stone (493CM)

Stone (493CM) is a pale pinky-taupe with cool undertones and a matte texture.

Opaque pigmentation
Smooth, velvety, not too powdery nor too firmly-pressed
Applied evenly and blended out with ease
Long-wearing (8.5 hours before fading a bit)

Whisper (494M)

Whisper (494M) is a light peach with warm undertones and a peach-pink pearl that has a metallic shine.

Opaque pigmentation
Smooth, lightly emollient, moderately-firm in press
Applied evenly and blended out nicely; touch of fallout
Long-wearing (9 hours before fading a bit)

Ella (495SF)

Ella (495SF) is a light-medium golden bronze with warm undertones and a gently gleaming metallic gloss. It sparkled finer than some of the other SF/SW colours in the palette.

Opaque pigmentation
Smooth, lightly emollient, moderately-firm in press
Applied evenly and blended out nicely
Long-wearing (9 hours before fading a bit)

Vague (496CM)

Vague (496CM) is a medium pink-leaning coral with warm undertones and a matte sheen.

Opaque pigmentation
Smooth, velvety, not too powdery nor too firmly-pressed
Applied evenly and blended out with ease
Long-wearing (9 hours before fading a bit)

Travertine (497M)

Travertine (497M) is a very light brown with warm undertones that are somewhat pink with a silky, metallic sheen.

Opaque pigmentation
Smooth, lightly emollient, moderately-firm in press
Applied evenly and blended out nicely; touch of fallout
Long-wearing (9 hours before fading a bit)

Delilah (498SW)

Delilah (498SW) is a golden taupe with warm crimson undertones and a shimmering, almost wet-like texture. The texture has enough slide to reduce fallout, but for those who want to avoid fallout, I would recommend combining it with an adhesive spray/base.

Opaque pigmentation
Smooth, lightly emollient, moderately-firm in press
Applied evenly and blended out nicely; touch of fallout
Long-wearing (9 hours with slight fallout over time)

Silhouette (499CM)

Silhouette (499CM) is a rich taupe-brown with overtones of coolness and a matte texture.

Mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation
Smooth, finely-milled, slightly thinner/a touch powdery compared to most in this finish
Applied evenly and blended out with ease
Long-wearing (9 hours before fading a bit)

Muse (500SF)

Muse (500SF) is a brighter, lighter copper with warmer, more orange-leaning overtones with a high-sparkle, metallic sheen that blended out somewhat glossy.

Opaque pigmentation
Smooth, moderately emollient, moderately-firm in press
Applied evenly and blended out nicely
Long-wearing (9 hours before fading slightly)

Fair (501CM)

Fair (501CM) is a pale pinky-peach with warm undertones and a matte texture.

Nearly opaque pigmentation
Smooth, velvety, a touch powdery
Applied evenly and blended out with ease
Long-wearing (8.5 hours before fading a bit)

Filigree (502SF)

Filigree (502SF) is a rich, medium-dark bronzy-taupe with warm rose overtones and a gently shimmering, metallic sheen. Because it was very rich, I felt that a lighter coating dispersed gave a more dazzling look than a metallic one.

Opaque pigmentation
Smooth, moderately emollient, moderately-firm in press
Applied evenly and blended out nicely
Long-wearing (9 hours before fading slightly)

Wit (503CM)

Wit (503CM) is a brighter, pink-leaning coral with warm undertones and a matte sheen.

Opaque pigmentation
Smooth, velvety, not too powdery nor too firmly-pressed
Applied evenly and blended out with ease
Long-wearing (9 hours before fading a bit

Sheen (504GW)

Sheen (504GW) is a light, coppery-orange with mild, warm undertones and a silky, finely-milled micro-sparkle that seems moist on skin.

Semi-opaque pigmentation
Smooth, slightly dry to the touch, not too firmly-pressed, thin but not stiff
Applied evenly and blended out nicely
Long-wearing (8 hours before fading a bit)

Tender (505CM)

Tender (505CM) is a light-medium taupe with cool undertones and a matte texture.

Opaque pigmentation
Smooth, velvety, not too powdery nor too firmly-pressed
Applied evenly and blended out with ease
Long-wearing (8.5 hours before fading a bit)

Mesh (506CM)

Mesh (506CM) is a matte medium-dark rosy-beige with delicate, warm undertones.

Nearly opaque pigmentation
Smooth, velvety, not too powdery nor too firmly-pressed
Applied evenly and blended out with ease
Long-wearing (8.5 hours before fading a bit)

Mia (507SW)

Mia (507SW) is a light pink with warm undertones and a more transparent foundation, as well as finer, wet-looking shimmer and a glossy finish. I couldn’t locate anything that expressly identified this hue as transparent/sheer, and it seemed opaque in the brand’s promotional samples!
