After nearly five years, ODESZA has returned with a new full-length solo studio album. The Last Goodbye is the follow-up to 2017’s mega-hit A Moment Part. The level of house influence simply oozing over this album – which if you heard the tracks is no surprise – stands out over prior ODESZA albums on first listen.
However, fans of ODESZA’s more ethereal, mystical sounds will not be disappointed. Songs like “North Garden” and “All My Life” will transport you to a more enchanted realm. Anyone who assumed ODESZA would fall off after taking a sabbatical was completely mistaken. Long-time ODESZA fans know that the record doesn’t truly come to life until they get the opportunity to perform it live.
