According to the Knight Frank Global Waterfront Study, which is based on appraisals from Knight Frank’s global network, prices for premium waterfront homes are 40% more on average than equivalent inland properties. The index compares the prospective value increase for great waterfront residences to similar properties located further inland with no access to or view of the sea.
