Black Panther

The MAC Black Panter Eyeshadow x 8 Palette is a new limited edition palette that incorporates a new formula from MAC that they describe as a “unique creamy, sensory texture that offers strong color clarity and bright payoff without heaviness.” They are more like cream-powder eyeshadows (similar to Natasha Denona‘s Cream-Powder formula), which means they have more glide but lack the conventional slip/emollience of a full-on cream eyeshadow. In actuality, the mattes had a more “natural matte” finish than pure powder matte eyeshadows since they were more pigmented for most colours in the palette and had a more “melted” appearance on skin.

Heart-Shaped Herb has a glossy shine and is a medium purple with warm, pink overtones.

Claw Marks

Claw Marks is a satin finish medium-dark cobalt blue with strong, cold (almost purple) undertones. This was one of the palette’s weaker colours that needed to be built up to be opaque, and it was best to let it set before putting more on top of the initial layer.
