Marianas touts underwater wonders at Beijing Ocean Festival

(MVA) — The Marianas Visitors Authority was on hand to highlight the underwater wonders of the Marianas at the Asian Diving Expo or ADEX Beijing Ocean Festival on July 12-14, 2019.

The biggest and longest-•running dive expo in Asia, ADEX has brought the best ocean and diving resources to its audience for 22 years. The ADEX Beijing Ocean Festival was organized by Underwater360 or UW360 and touted as one of the industry’s “must-­attend” events.

“This was our third year to attend the Beijing Ocean Festival as part of our growing participating in the ADEX events throughout nearby areas of Asia, including Singapore and Beijing, China,” said MVA marketing manager thomas kim. “This year, we were joined by our tourism partners Ocean Plus, Green Flash and Century Tours in promoting The Marianas ‘rich ocean and diving resources to the audience.

Marianas Ocean Ambassador Yorko Summer delivered the presentation introducing the Marianas as an ideal diving paradise and calling on people’s sense of environmental protection by minimizing the usage of plastic products.

“Summer’s marvelous photos, video, professional introduction and appealing interaction with audience made the presentation one of the hottest programs during ADEX,” said Kim.

In addition to many consumers, MVA’s booth also welcomed several celebrities, including Doudou, ADEX Ambassador for Marine Conservation (Greater China); Wang Aolin, a previous visitor to the Marianas and ADEX Ambassador for Freediving (Greater China); and Christian Vizl Mac Gregor, Judge of 2019 Asian Photographer of the Year.
