First international Events in 2021 

Four Canadian players will participate in the very first international event since March 2020. Mo Zhang (WS, XD), Eugene Wang (XD) and Jeremy Hazin (MS) will try to better their World Ranking at the World Table Tennis Middle East Hub.

Mo Zhang is one of seeded players at the Contender and the Star Contender event in WS. She will join forces with Eugene Wang in XD. This is one of the rare opportunities to test their level before Olympic Games.

Jeremy Hazin is on the Qualification list of players at the Contender event.

World Singles Olympic Qualifications 

Edward Ly will represent Canada at the World Singles Olympic Qualifications. He has finished 3rd at Canadian Olympic Qualification tournament and this will be experience at a new level for Canadian best junior. Eugene Wang and Jeremy Hazin (top two from Canadian and North American Olympic Qualification) has already earned their spots at Olympic Team.

Edward and Jeremy will also participate in the training camp organized by ITTF prior the Olympic Qualification event.

• Their name has been published in their new age category, but their level is not marked (Page 1).


• Their National Team Points earned in 2020 for their previous age category remains on the list during 2021.
