The new Bvlgari Hotel Paris, located on Avenue George V, opened its doors on December 2. It is the newest addition to the Bvlgari Hotel’s global collection of hotels and resorts. Bvlgari spent six years converting a 10-story corporate building into the opulent and magnificent hotel. The tower, created by the Italian architecture firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, is extremely modern, with 76 rooms, 57 of which are suites with their own terrace or loggia.

The Bvlgari Penthouse, which costs €35,000 per night, is located at the very top of the building. The two-story penthouse has a total area of 10,764 square feet and features a hanging garden as well as 360-degree views of the City of Lights. The dining area can accommodate up to ten people, and the penthouse features a unique spiral staircase that leads to the garden. Apart from the penthouse, the hotel has four Bvlgari Suites and four Executive Terrace Suites, which are the hotel’s second and third largest accommodation types.

A dedicated eating space and a minibar disguised as a luggage trunk are available in the larger suites. Even more intriguing, certain suite bathrooms include a private steam bath, known as a hammam, and all suite guests have access to a butler. The Bvlgari Spa, which measures 13,990 square feet and was once a parking garage, is located on the bottom floors of the hotel, which was previously a parking garage. There are nine treatment rooms, an 80-foot swimming pool, a sauna, a hair salon, and a London’s Workshop gym on the premises.

Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, a 26-seater restaurant managed by three-Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito, is located on the property’s back end. A private dining area with eight seats is also available. The restaurant offers Italian classics as well as bistro favorites like French onion soup. The Bvlgari Bar and Lounge is located next to the restaurant and faces the hotel garden. With furniture from Italy and the majority of the stonework and millwork from France, the hotel mixes French and Italian culture and craftsmanship. A glass art image of the Bvlgari serpent in the style of Rene Lalique can also be found in most of the restrooms.

If you’re feeling adventurous, the concierge may arrange you a guided tour of the Rodin Museum, private shopping at Le Bon Marche, or even a private showing at the Bvlgari boutique on the Place Vendome. If you think yourself a Parisian native, the Bvlgari Hotel Paris suites have an in-room iPad control system that you can use to turn off the lights or order room service, as well as a menu of chauffeured vehicles ranging from a family-sized van to a motorcycle.

The classic rooms start at €1,400 per night and go up to the €35,000 per night penthouse suite.
