“Purgatory,” out now on BASSRUSH, is the first collaboration between SVDDEN DEATH and ATLIENS. “Purgatory” is an explosive mood-setter that will have fans salivating for what’s to come only days before the first-annual Summoning Of The Eclipse Fest in Tennessee, coordinated by SVDDEN DEATH himself. For over two years, the track has been quietly circulating in bass music circles, gaining the backing of well-known artists and traction on social networking platforms such as Twitter and Reddit.

The track begins with an obscurely menacing beginning that leads into a lengthy build-up, virtually a purgatory of its own for listeners, at little under three minutes. The music is suggestive of space travel or extraterrestrial sound – featuring an astronaut on the track artwork, made by BeSafe – and is slightly more experimental than previous releases for both artists. While SVDDEN DEATH usually publishes on his own label, Svdden Death Recordings, this will be ATLiens’ second release with Bassrush, following their secondary EP Ghost Planet.
