Samsung Galaxy Note 10 exposed in FCC slip-up

The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has been leaked online, revealing it will have no buttons on the right-hand side and a central pinhole selfie camera.  

It also shows that the Korean tech firm has decided to do away with the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack and has decided to keep its controversial Bixby button. 

Images of the phone, as well as specs and details, appeared on the website of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which approves tech for use in the US.

Tech site XDA Developers obtained the images before they were removed from the FCC site.  

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE NOTE 10?   Samsung will have a formal event next month to properly announce the Note 10 but there have been several leaks.  Including pics which show what it may look like.   No buttons on the right hand side  Either Bixby button on the left side or a power button 

Annotated images of the front and the back of the device show the size of the screen and the presence of a triple-lens in-line camera. 

Measurements claim it to be the same 'phablet' size as the Note 9 with a 6.4-inch screen, using what is likely the same Super AMOLED Infinity Display.

A pinhole camera, previously teased by the Korean firm, also appears to feature. 

A pinhole selfie camera is a feature aimed to take up less screen space and not need a notorious 'notch'  which detracts from the user experience. 

Previous leaks from a variety of sources also appear to be confirmed, but true knowledge of specs and size will not be known until the real unveiling on August 7. 

Front and rear images were also released in the document which shows the phone will join the rend of ditching the traditional, and now out of favour, 3.5mm headphone jack. 

Documents and information alongside the pictures reveal the phablet will be compatible with the new Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), which is not necessarily a surprise. 

However, what does come as somewhat of a surprise considering the widespread reach and investment in 5G, is that the device will not be compatible with the ultra-fast mobile internet. 

Last year's unveiling on the Note 9 occurred at an event in New York which it live streamed to more than half a million people worldwide.

The firm claimed at the time that this phone would 'raise the bar for speed and power once again' and revealed it in four colours: Midnight Black, Lavender Purple and Ocean Blue.
