The origins of numerology

Numerology, also called arithmancy, appeared 4000 years ago in Mesopotamia. In antiquity, it was assimilated to the science of numbers. Long contested, it made a triumphant return to the 20th century. Today’s numerologists believe that there is a connection between numbers and the physical manifestations of the universe. However, scientists have been unable to demonstrate any connection between numbers and a person’s fate.

Numerology is therefore not a science or a divinatory art but rather a means of parapsychological investigation. She does not make predictions but can help to get to know yourself better and to take control of your destiny while retaining your free will, in other words, to better take advantage of life’s opportunities.

How does numerology work?

Numerology uses the symbolic language of numbers. This language is defined as timeless and universal.

Its principle is based on the fact that each number, each date or each name corresponds to a number ranging from 1 to 9, called a numerological number.

We thus obtain the translation of a word into numerological symbols.

The numbers or dates are converted by the addition and then the reduction of the various digits composing them until a single digit is obtained. This number is between 1 and 9 or 11 or 22.

This residual number has its own vibration. And it is this vibration which serves as a basis for the numerological interpretation. For example: take the year 1986:

1986 = 1 + 9 + 8 + 6 = 24 = 2 + 4 = 6

The vibration of 1986 is therefore 6.

There are two exceptions: the numbers 11 and 22, considered as master numbers having their own vibratory frequency.

The 0 is also an exception since it cannot be reduced.

The same method applies to letters. We then take into account their place in the alphabet: A turns into 1, B into 2, C into 3… up to 9.

From place 10, we get the numerological number by adding the tens and the ones digit. For example: L (12th letter of the alphabet) = 12 = 1 + 2 = 3.

This rule of correspondence between numbers and letters allows the translation of a first name, a name or another word in cypher language.

It is then sufficient to add the digits and reduce the sum thus obtained to arrive at a digit between 1 and 9.

Example: the word NUMBER = 5 + 6 + 4 + 2 + 9 + 5 = 31 (intermediate number ) = 4

The vibrational frequency of numerological numbers

Each numerological number corresponds to a vibration:

• The 1: the masculine principle, the beginning, the action, the authority,
• The 2: the feminine principle, the receptive, the yin, the sensitivity, the alliances,
• The 3: creation, expression, the child in the couple,
• 4th: work, brakes,
• The 5: freedom, change,

• 7th: reflection, mind, studies,
• The 8th: material progress, gains, losses, construction, destruction,
• The 9th: the end and the beginning again,
• The 11th: strength and power,
• The 22nd: wisdom.
