“We’re Not Women’s Soccer, We’re Not the NFL!” Hockey Coach Tells Players If They Disrespect...

A video is going viral online of a hockey coach telling his players,

“We’re not women’s soccer. We’re not the NFL! If there’s anybody here who is going to be disrespectful to either the American or the Canadian national anthem, grab your gear and get the fuck out now because you’ll never see the ice in this arena. We don’t have that problem in hockey, we’re better than that but there was no sense in wasting anybody’s time if that shit was going to happen.”

The coach is referring to Trump-hating soccer player Megan Rapinoe and former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

the guys don’t look like really young players. I’m guessing its a lower level professional league like the Federal Hockey League or Southern Professional Hockey League. Kudos to the coach. Another reason I love hockey. Its the only sport I watch now.

The competition is too keen for those that want get aboard a farm team for the NHL, they don't have time for this Bull*hit, and the host families of all the players when they are in a starter league, and all the money the parents spent to get the kids to that level, all the camps, gear, ice time, off ice training, etc etc. This is serious stuff, you do not have time for self absorb moralistic preeners... Does it sound like I might have lived at the rink at one time? Maybe a different sport, but you see it all real quick, especially if you know up in comers that are trying to make it to the pros.... Oh ya, one cheap shot check, that takes out an elbow or shoulder and your done.... High risk stuff, I know someone bound for the pros that that happened too, he turned out ok, in the left seat for a Major, just call him Captain...

I still remember the 1968 Olympics when blacks refused to salute the flag, and made the Black Power sign. Their popularity immediately went in the toilet. To separate himself from such nonsense, George Foreman, upon winning the GOLD in the boxing match, pulled out two American flags and waved them proudly.
