Zedd was picked to be the house DJ for the Emmys in Los Angeles last night at the Microsoft Theater, thanks in part to his hit edit of “Pink Soldiers” (from Squid Game) x “Do It To It.” Twitter reactions to Zedd’s involvement last night ranged from enthusiastic support to questions about what he was doing there and how his financial account was doing.

Regardless of how you slice it, Zedd was seen and heard in millions of homes throughout the United States, despite declining viewership for prominent award events across the board. The program earned two Emmys for his buddies at ‘Squid Game’ and Netflix: Best Actor, Drama for Lee Jung-jae, the first person from a foreign language show to win the prize; and Directing for a Drama Series, Hwang Dong-hyuk (“Red Light, Green Light”).
