ColourPop All Amethyst Eyeshadow Palette - 3 minutes read
All Amethyst
The ColourPop All Amethyst 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette is a new limited edition purple-themed palette that includes five more matte eyeshadows and four more shimmery eyeshadows housed in a cardboard compact. One of the shimmer eyeshadows was packed with silicones, which I’ve found causes uneven application, but the remaining shades worked well.
Brilliant
Brilliant is a pearly whitish lavender with strong, cool undertones. It had medium pigmentation and applied smoothly to bare skin. The texture was smooth, moderately emollient, and heavier on silicones. It lasted for about eight hours before becoming visibly faded.
High Grade
High Grade is a pale pink with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had a soft, smooth texture that wasn’t too firmly pressed into the pan and wasn’t powdery. It provided opaque color coverage that lasted for eight hours before fading noticeably.
Trigonal
Trigonal is a semi-matte medium pinky lavender with subtle, warm undertones. The eyeshadow was richly pigmented and applied evenly to bare skin, with just a smidgeon of fallout from the fine sparkle. It was blendable and had a soft, lightly powdery consistency. After eight hours of wear, this color began to fade.
Feb’s Gem
Feb’s Gem is a matte medium-dark pink with cool undertones. It felt slightly firmer in the pan, so I had to use a heavier hand to pick up product evenly, but in practice, I had no trouble diffusing the edges. It provided full color coverage and lasted for eight hours on me.
Sunbird
Sunbird is a bright, medium-dark pink-lavender with warmer undertones and a shifting blue-to-violet shimmer. It had a nearly opaque color payoff and a smooth, lightly creamy texture that applied evenly and blended well. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before visibly fading.
Thyst or That
Thyst or That is a matte medium-dark taupe with cool undertones. The eyeshadow had a soft, blendable texture that was slightly powdery and prone to sheering out. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation that lasted for about eight hours before noticeably fading.
Amulet
Amulet has a frosted finish and is a bright, medium blue-based purple. It had semi-opaque color coverage and a very emollient texture, making it difficult to pick up evenly and resulting in crumbly fallout. It wore well on me for seven hours.
Crystal Crazy
Crystal Crazy is a matte, faded medium purple with neutral-to-cool undertones. The texture was slightly powdery, but the color payoff was mostly opaque and buildable, adhering evenly and blending out well. It lasted for about eight hours before fading noticeably.
Royal Affair
Royal Affair is a medium-dark, plummy purple with warm, pink undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage paired with a soft, blendable texture that was slightly firmer in the pan but not difficult to work with. It lasted nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.
