Sydney Grace Be Mine (Deep) Eyeshadow Palette - 6 minutes read
Be Mine (Deep)
Sydney Grace Be Mine (Deep) Eyeshadow Palette is a new, permanent eyeshadow palette with 15 shades divided into seven matte and eight shimmer shades. The palette is available in two versions: light and deep, with six shades adjusted to work better on lighter vs. darker skin tones. These shades are denoted by “(Deep)” after the shade name. It’s a good option for those who prefer more neutral-to-warm, slightly muted neutral eyeshadows with a pink undertone, and it’s consistent with the brand’s high quality formulas.
Sydney Grace Smooch (Deep) Pressed Pigment Shadow
Smooch (Deep)
Smooch (Deep) is a metallic medium-dark golden pewter with warm undertones. The eyeshadow had a rich color payoff and applied smoothly and evenly. Smooth, dense but not overly firm or thick, and cream-like in texture. It stayed on for about eight hours before fading noticeably. It is noticeably darker, richer, and more golden than the Light version (they are not at all comparable).
Sydney Grace All Mine (Deep) Matte Shadow
All Mine (Deep)
All Mine (Deep) is a caramel brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation and a soft, blendable texture, but it was a little more firmly packed than ideal. This color lasted well on my skin for eight hours before fading visibly. It is darker, more reddish, and of lower quality (more firmly pressed) than the Light version.
Baby Cakes
Baby Cakes is a light-medium olive gold with a metallic sheen and muted, warm undertones. The color payoff was opaque, and the texture was smooth, lightly creamy, and moderately dense without being overly packed in the pan. It stayed on me for about eight hours before fading noticeably.
Sydney Grace Love Me (Deep) Matte Shadow
Love Me (Deep)
Love Me (Deep) is a deep, rich taupe-brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable color coverage that applied evenly and blended out well, despite having a firmer texture. It stayed on for about eight hours before fading noticeably. When compared to the Light version, it was darker and warmer.
Romance
Romance is a dark taupe-brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had mostly opaque, buildable color coverage and a slightly firmer texture, making it easier to use as a buildable matte rather than something packed on. It lasted for eight hours on me before beginning to fade.
Sydney Grace Flirty (Deep) Pressed Pigment Shadow
Flirty (Deep)
Flirty (Deep) is a deep pink with strong, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. The eyeshadow had a smooth, almost cream-like texture that was dense but not too firm, though you may find a denser brush picks up color more evenly than something fluffy. It lasted about eight and a half hours before starting to fade. It has a much darker and warmer tone than the Light version.
Sydney Grace Soul Mates (Deep) Matte Shadow
Soul Mates (Deep)
Soul Mates (Deep) is a matte medium-dark pink with moderate, warm undertones. On my skin, it provided opaque color coverage that applied evenly and blended well. The texture in the pan was soft, smooth, and blendable, with a hint of powderiness. It stayed on for about eight hours before fading noticeably. It has a much deeper and warmer tone than the Light version.
Sydney Grace Darling (Deep) Matte Shadow
Darling (Deep)
Darling (Deep) is a rich pink with warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was incredibly smooth and blendable, not too powdery or firmly pressed into the pan. It had rich pigmentation that lasted for eight hours before noticeably fading. When compared to the Light version, it was much darker and warmer-toned (redder in undertone).
Pucker Up
Pucker Up is a medium-dark plummy-brown with a subtle warm undertone and a matte finish. It provided mostly opaque, buildable color coverage that was easy to apply to bare skin. The eyeshadow had a soft, slightly thin texture that was easy to blend and work with. This color lasted for eight hours before fading slightly.
Cupid
Cupid is a medium pinky-plum shade with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. The texture was slightly dense, lightly emollient, and easily blendable with a dry brush. It had an opaque color payoff that lasted for eight hours before visibly fading.
Crush on You
Crush on You is a dark, golden olive with a black base and a metallic sheen. The eyeshadow provided opaque color coverage in a single layer, adhered well to bare skin, and was free of fallout. It had a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was dense but not overly so. It wore well on me for eight and a half hours.
Eye Candy
Eye Candy is a rich olive green with muted, warm undertones and a gleaming, metallic finish. It had a richly pigmented, almost cream-like texture to the touch, but it was dense and firm enough not to be powdery while still blending out easily. It lasted about eight hours before starting to fade.
I Love You
I Love You is a dark, plummy purple with warm undertones and a soft, metallic sheen. The eyeshadow provided full color coverage in a single layer and was easily picked up with a dry brush due to the texture being lightly emollient, blendable but not too thick. It stayed on for about eight and a half hours before fading visibly.
Smitten
Smitten is a medium-dark, warmer black with a metallic finish that sparkles slightly throughout. It was denser and thicker than most of the brand’s eyeshadows, which could have been to help the more visible sparkles bind with the underlying product, but it did require a heavier hand to pick up product evenly. This color lasted for eight and a half hours before creasing.
My Person
My Person has a matte finish and is a soft, almost grayish-black color. It had a soft, velvety texture that was thin, blendable, and not too powdery, with mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation. It lasted for about eight hours before noticeably fading.
