Layering Whites & Accessorizing with Dior! – Sincerely Jules
Layering is definitely a fashion staple in the Bay Area, which is why I stacked some of my favorite summer neutrals. Currently wearing white, beige, and creamy neutrals together just works! I never thought to layer white with ivory or beige because they are too close on the spectrum, but lately I’ve been inspired to create depth and be more fluid with color. Playing with patterns and colors is in, and that means dipping into some typical fashion “no’s” because right now the contrast is all “yes!”
I’m obsessed with all things Dior – especially my 30 Montaigne Dior Oblique! So it was a no brainer to accessorize my layered look with my favorite Dior pieces. The Montaigne Dior Oblique is that classic bag you are sure to carry through out the years. The monogramed jacquard canvas and the CD clasp gives that touch of vintage while still feeling modern & chic. And as any child of the 90’s should, I love wearing combat boots! I particularly love wearing combat boots with feminine forms and light reflecting colors, like these Christian Dior beauties.
A maxi skirt or midi dress is the perfect choice to snag this 90’s look. And having a loose and baggy cardigan to throw on over a slip dress is a great way to achieve a lightly layered look for warmer weather.
Who’s your favorite designer to accessorize with and what are some of your favorite ways to mix and match whites?
