Last month, this designer, who took over from Alessandro Michele in January, gave us a tantalizing glimpse into his vision for the brand. He did so by sharing a sneak peek of Gucci’s upcoming high jewelry campaign with his 96.6k Instagram followers, featuring none other than the legendary supermodel and fashion icon, Daria Werbowy.

In what marks her first foray into fashion since 2016, Daria Werbowy, the Canadian-Ukranian beauty with Polish roots, is staging a remarkable comeback. She takes center stage as the face and embodiment of Sabato de Sarno’s vision for Gucci, and the eagerly awaited campaign images have finally arrived for us to swoon over.

Shot on location at the historic Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, the campaign showcases Daria in sun-drenched scenes as she roams the hotel’s grounds, poses by the pool, and is beautifully captured by the lens of David Sims. Styled by the talented Alastair McKimm, Daria elegantly dons pieces from Gucci’s Marina Chain collection, which features exquisite anchor-chain detailing.
