Bronze Influence

The MAC Bronze Influence Connect in Colour 6-Pan Eyeshadow Palette is a new, permanent six-pan palette with two matte and four shimmer colours in a neutral color scheme. The formula employed for the new Connect in Colour palettes did not impress me since the shimmers were dry, thin, dusty, and/or powdery with sheer coverage and poor durability, and the mattes were not as blendable as they could (or should!) have been. The new formula is intended to have “one-swipe” pigmentation and is being marketed as VERY pigmented eyeshadows, however the three shimmers were really weak eyeshadows… period.

Retrospeck is a frosted light-medium gold with mild, warm undertones.

Data Mine

Data Mine is a medium copper with warm, orange undertones and a frosted sheen.

Olive Twist

Olive Twist is a light-medium golden brown with a satin texture and faint gold micro-sparkle.

Overnight Influencer

Overnight Influencer is a cool-toned, dark forest green with a matte texture.

Mostly opaque, buildable coverage
Lightly powdery and slightly thin
Applied fairly evenly but could have been more blendable
Average longevity (7 hours before fading visibly; brand only claimed 8-hour wear)
