ColourPop Brooklyn Nets Eyeshadow Palette - 3 minutes read

Brooklyn Nets

ColourPop Brooklyn Nets 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette is a new smoky eye color story with grays and subdued peach/brown tones. All nine shades provided semi-opaque to opaque coverage with blendable, relatively easy-to-apply textures that were consistent with the brand’s eyeshadow formula.

Bed-Stuy

Bed-Stuy is a pinky-peach shade with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had an opaque color payoff and a soft, blendable consistency that wasn’t too powdery or too tightly packed into the pan. It lasted about eight hours before fading slightly.

Flatbush

Flatbush is a metallic silver with neutral undertones and a bright, light-medium silver finish. The eyeshadow was densely pigmented and had a smooth, lightly emollient texture that picked up well with a dry brush and adhered well to bare skin. It wore well for eight hours before noticeably fading.

Jump Shot

Jump Shot is a medium warm color with soft, warm undertones and a gleaming finish. The texture was slightly drier, resulting in more semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation with a hint of fallout. It lasted for about eight hours before becoming visibly faded.

718

The color 718 is a light gray with neutral undertones and a matte finish. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation and a soft, lightly powdery texture that applied evenly and blended out well without fallout. It lasted about eight hours before fading slightly.

Gameday

Gameday is a muted white with a gray undertone, with flecks of larger micro-sparkle over a more matte finish. It had light sparkle fallout that did not bind well with the base, and the texture was somewhat thin and drier. The pigmentation was semi-opaque but not particularly buildable. It wore well for eight hours before noticeably fading.

BK

BK has a light, almost silvery-white base with warm, golden sparkle all over. It had a softer, slightly drier texture with light fallout and more buildable coverage. It lasted for about eight hours before becoming visibly faded.

Triple Threat

Triple Threat is a rich purplish-gray with cool undertones and a pearly sheen. The texture was smooth and emollient, but it still picked up evenly with a dry brush and provided good, even, and opaque coverage on bare skin. It lasted about eight hours before fading slightly.

Atlantic Ave

Atlantic Ave has a matte finish and is a deep black. The texture was firmer and more emollient, which was ideal for tapping into a small area and then blending with a fluffier brush, but it wasn’t the most blendable finish. It provided mostly opaque, buildable coverage that lasted for eight hours before noticeably fading.

Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn Bridge is a rich taupe-brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. Because of its smooth, velvety texture, it had a rich color payoff that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well. It lasted for about eight hours before becoming visibly faded.
