Italian Elia Viviani earned his first Tour de France stage victory, taking the fourth stage on Tuesday.

Viviani, 30, won a bunch sprint over the likes of Alexander Kristoff (second) and Peter Sagan (fourth) to cap a 133-mile stage from Reims to Nancy.

Viviani is in his second Tour de France and his first since 2014. He joined the group of cyclists to earn stage wins in each of the three Grand Tours, adding to his five from the Giro d’Italia and three from the Vuelta a Espana.

Frenchman Julian Alaphilippe retained the yellow jersey as the overall race leader.

The Tour de France continues with a hilly Stage 5 on Wednesday.
