Billion Dollars - How to Become a Billionaire in 12 Months

A billion dollars is a lot of money. A million dollars is 1000 multiplied by $1000 dollars, but a billion dollars is 1000 million dollars! That's a lot of dollars isn't it? To become a billionaire in 12 months you would need to make $20 million dollars a week for a full year. Hmm...maybe we should change the title of this article to Dreaming of being a billionaire in 12 months.

But ok, so you don't think I am completely crazy, let's look at it as an exercise rather than a genuine possibility. To make 20 million dollars a week one would need an expansive network of something...anything to be hooked up with that type of income. It would have to be a passive income utilizing the leverage of a paid workforce and of course using the leverage of money to create the 20 million dollars. One thing is for sure, earning 20 million dollars a week could not be done in a paid job because even if you worked really hard and put in 100 hours a week, you would still need to be earning $200,000 dollars an hour!

Ok...let's be logical and see if we can break it down further. To make $200,000 dollars an hour we would need 1000 people working for us making us $200 dollars an hour. That is possible I guess as a corporation can typically make this sort of income while they pay their staff say $20 or $30 dollars an hour.

The other way to look at it would be to approach it from a capital gains perspective. You could buy and sell objects of value that are resold for millions in profit. At this level of income you would decidedly be wanting to work with governments of the world which would have the spending power to purchase such things. Large ocean going vessels and military equipment would come to mind.
