#Dieting always seems to be about tips and tricks, doesn’t it? There are hundreds of diets and most of them will help you to #lose #weight, but it’s all about the little things or so it seems to me.

I never have a problem eating or not eating what is on a particular diet. For me, it was in-between meals that caused me problems. My mother used to joke that I ate like a cow- grazing all day long! Unfortunately, this seems to be true! I always want some between meals “something” to satisfy both my sweet tooth and my appetite.

I found an amazing #tea that really curbed my #appetite and satisfied my sweet tooth. Not just any tea, but a particular type of tea that, when mixed with a few #herbs, really knocked out my sweet tooth and smashed that need to snack!

My Secret:

My secret to success was to make a little infusion using Rooibos tea, ginger, and cinnamon.

Rooibos tea comes to us from Africa, where it is as common as Earl Grey #tea is to Brit’s. This amazing tea has a unique bioflavonoid called aspalathin, which is known to inhibit the hormones which trigger hunger and fat storage.

Since this tea is caffeine-free and naturally sweet, most people find they don’t even need to add sugar. If you find this tea not sweet enough, you can always add a touch of Stevia.

Why Add the Other Herbs?

Just a quick rundown on why I decided to add the other herbs to my Rooibos tea:

Cinnamon - This common spice is known to regulate blood sugar levels, as well as reducing cholesterol levels. Also, as everyone knows, it tastes good! Anything that contains cinnamon seems to taste sweet to me.

Ginger – Not only does this spice have anti-cancer compounds, but it increases the metabolism, which can mean easy weight loss without doing anything more than drinking tea!

Not only that, but it’s a #natural #diuretic, which fights #water #weight and bloat.

How to Make It and How to Use It:

The whole idea behind this tea is to kill your appetite between meals. I don’t know about you, but especially at night, I want a little something sweet before bed.

This tea works like a charm! Rather than reach for a soda, I reach for a glass or cup of this almost magical tea blend.

You can drink it hot or cold, whichever you like.

I usually sip it hot during the day, but drink a big, cold glass just before bed.

You should drink at least 4 cups a day, but if you can squeeze in 5 or 6 – all the better!

The Recipe:

1 liter of water

1 teaspoon of ginger

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

2 bags (or 2 teaspoons of loose-leaf) Rooibos tea.

Directions:

Boil the water, along with the ginger and cinnamon.

You can use powdered ginger and/or cinnamon, but if you can grate it fresh, that’s even better.

Boil for about 5 minutes, and then turn off the flame.

Add the tea to the pot, then cover.

Allow steeping for another 5 minutes.

Strain and pour into the container of your choice (glass is best).

You can drink it hot or add ice.

I like to double or sometimes triple this recipe, and then store it in the fridge for later.

One last thing:

Now, while studies have shown that you can loss weight simply by substituting sodas and snacks for this delish tea,

I want to let you in on another little secret.

I lost my first 20 pounds using this tea but decided to lose another 20 pounds.

A friend told me about the smoothie and I have to tell you, the weight just fell off! I was shocked.

I still drank this tea to help kill my appetite and to give me more energy but in combination with the two-week diet,

I looked better and felt better than I can ever remember!

Whether you choose to just add this terrific weight loss tea to your diet, or if you decide to try it in combination with the Two weeks diet, as I did, get ready for some major changes in your body, all for the good!

Your friends will be asking you what your secret is. It’s up to you if you want to tell them or not!
