In terms of both people and land area, Africa is the second-largest continent on Earth after Asia. Most African countries are putting their efforts towards expanding their foreign trade with other countries around the world in order to improve their international ties. This can be demonstrated by looking at the recorded values.
According to the table above, the Africa Trade Data has increased by 17.6%. Additionally, it is stated that South Africa is the primary African country that imports the most goods based on the Africa Import Data for the previous few years. 2022 saw South Africa import items worth USD 111.87 billion, or 17.09% of all imports into Africa.
