Most of these women are live in workers, totally dependent upon their employer for survival. 

Some are foreign and without legal permission to work therein.

So they are verbally and even sexually abused by their male employers at work. 

Most keep silent about it because they are the only bread winners for the families at home.

There is a law that provides some protection for these workers. But the male dominated and controlling cultural mentality persists to this day.
