ColourPop Roaring Hearts Eyeshadow Palette - 3 minutes read

Roaring Hearts

ColourPop Roaring Hearts 10-Pan Pressed Powder Palette is a new warm-toned neutral palette for the holiday season. It included six matte eyeshadows and four shimmer eyeshadows. The matte eyeshadows performed better compared to the shimmers, as two of the four shimmers were drier and more prone to fallout.

Fancy That

Fancy That is a bright, white gold with a metallic sheen. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation with a soft, smooth consistency that was thin without being stiff or too powdery. It wore nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.

Lost Gen

Lost Gen is a light brown with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was soft, lightly powdery but blendable and not prone to sheering out. It had opaque color coverage that stayed on well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Nightlife

Nightlife is a medium gold with moderate, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation, but the texture was drier and had moderate fallout during application. This shade lasted for eight hours but had some fallout over time.

Pour Another

Pour Another is a light-medium orange with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had medium to semi-opaque color coverage paired with a moderately powdery consistency that had some fallout when blended out. It wore decently for seven hours before fading noticeably.

Café Society

Café Society is a medium, rosy copper with warm undertones and a sparkling finish. It had a drier, more loosely-pressed texture that was best applied with a fingertip or a dampened brush to manage the fallout. It had opaque color payoff that stayed on well for eight hours with light fallout over time.

Fox Trot

Fox Trot is a dark yellow with strong, warm orange undertones and a matte finish. The texture was moderately powdery, so take care when picking up and applying to avoid fallout. It had opaque color coverage that sheered out a bit when applied to bare skin. It lasted well for seven and a half hours before fading visibly.

Phonograph

Phonograph is a rich, khaki bronze with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had an almost cream-like feel to the touch, but it wasn’t overly dense nor too firmly-packed into the pan, so it yielded rich pigmentation in a single layer that blended out beautifully. There were signs of fading present after eight hours of wear.

That Sax

That Sax is a medium-dark brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out well as the texture was soft, smooth, and not too powdery nor too firmly-pressed into the pan. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Lindy Hop

Lindy Hop is a deep brown with subtle, warm red undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable without being powdery nor too firmly-pressed into the pan. It had opaque color coverage that lasted well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Grand Dame

Grand Dame is a rich black with neutral undertones and a matte finish. It had rich pigmentation with a smooth, blendable texture that wasn’t too firmly nor too loosely-pressed into the pan. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.
