Tom Ford Belle de Peche Eye Color Quad - 2 minutes read

Belle de Peche

The Belle de Peche Eye Color Quad from Tom Ford Beauty is a limited-edition warm-toned neutral quad. Despite the fact that nothing on the box or the palette indicates that the formula is different from previous releases, it felt very different to me. It felt like a cream-powder formula, slightly firmer than the actual Eye Color Creme formula that was just released, but closer to it than previous gel-powder releases. It’s a lovely formula, and it performed similarly to the Eye Color Creme one for me: the shades were smooth, pigmented, and blendable, with a very seamless effect on the skin, almost “melting” against it while still remaining long-wearing.

Belle de Peche #1

Belle de Peche #1 is a medium peach with a satin finish and warmer, yellowy undertones. It provided opaque color coverage in a single layer, though the formula worked better with a dry brush to get through the surface at first, as a fingertip compressed the product too much. The eyeshadow blended well along the edges and applied evenly to bare skin. It lasted for nine hours before visibly fading.

Belle de Peche #2

Belle de Peche #2 is a muted, medium-dark orange with strong, warm undertones and a satin finish. The texture was more like a cream-powder (about 30-35 percent cream from touching and playing with it) that only felt cream-like when touched with a fingertip or saw how it “melted” on my lids, but I could see slight powder kicked up in the pan when working with a dry brush. It had a nice opaque color payoff that lasted for nine hours before starting to fade a little.

Belle de Peche #3

Belle de Peche #3 is a satin finish, bright medium orange-coral with strong, warm undertones. It had a smooth, moderately dense texture that felt like a cream to the touch but performed and worked more like a powder. It lasted for nine hours before it started to fade.

Belle de Peche #4

Belle de Peche #4 is a darker, orange-toned brown. The eyeshadow provided full color coverage, adhered evenly to bare skin, and almost blended out without losing intensity. To the touch, it felt like a cream-powder, but it picked up like a powder. It lasted for nine hours before visibly fading.
