I wrote this poem in frustration and concern for the family of Jacob Blake who spoke so profoundly and emphatically about the impact on their lives.

I wrote this poem for all people who have empathy for the struggles of all our communities

If we all express our feelings of concern care support and we come together

We can collectively make it better

If we can take the time just to understand and to help each other in small ways that jointly become changed practices, changed laws become changed ways of being and living together

The pain needs to stop-second by second each one of us can make a difference by our own actions
