JD Farell is well on his way to establishing himself as a heavy-hitter in dance music, driven by a tremendous love for the craft of music and fueled by incredible commitment. JD Farell, an Atlanta native, has been active in music his whole life, taking woodwind classes and performing in concert bands for years. He began by training himself to play the drums and guitar before falling in love with analog synthesisers, electronic music production, and sound design. Having grown up listening to dance music, he finally began working as an artist liaison for Liquified, Atlanta’s top promotion and booking firm.

JD Farell chose to take on his own creations after networking with the scene’s top players, which led to many Beatport Top 100 singles and a contract with Purified Records, one of the world’s most recognized house music labels. As a live act, he has supported Nora En Pure, Markus Shultz,  Tiësto, and others while opening for Alan Walker, Gorgon City, Kaskade, Cristoph, i o, Tinlicker, and others. The multi-instrumentalist and producer’s distinct house tracks, which sit halfway between techno and tech house, are clearly soundtracking the club nights of dance music aficionados all around the world.

JD Farell’s most recent release is a big original remix of Electric Polar Bears, CAZZETTE, and The Ready Set’s “Cloudy Heart,” which was published earlier this year by Antarctic Music Group. “Cloudy Heart,” a compelling and melodic dance tune, is replete with anthemic vocals and groovy deep house production – the ideal foundation for JD Farell to inject with his unique style. JD Farell’s rendition on “Cloudy Heart,” which transforms the arrangement into a progressive techno gem, is immersive and profound, indicating that JD Farell is an artist to watch.
