Since taking on the role of creative director for Saint Laurent in 2016, Anthony Vaccarello has consistently enlisted a familiar group of photographers to capture the essence of the renowned French fashion house in its campaigns. Among the favored collaborators of the Belgian designer are Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, David Sims, Grey Sorrenti, and Juergen Teller, to name a few. After a two-decade hiatus, Glen Luchford, the British fashion photographer and film director, has returned to the scene at the behest of Vaccarello for the Winter 2023 campaign.
The cast of models, including Awar Odhiang, Margaux Lion, and Bethany Nagy, effortlessly embody Vaccarello’s vision for Saint Laurent. The campaign unfolds within the expansive confines of an underground space, adding an extra layer of drama and fabulosity to the visuals.
