The trick is picking the correct product to promote. If you are an affiliate, this is easy. Just look for an offer that provides people with REAL value. Once you have that offer... you are ready to make a fortune.
The second part is what will make you the most money. Sending traffic to an offer is exactly how you generate income online. Without traffic to your product... there is no way you are going to earn any money.
Learn how to market with paid advertising. This is the fastest way to get traffic. My personal favorite is newsletter advertising. This is where I can get my ad in-front of my target market for a small fee. The price of these ads can vary. But I usually look for ads that are $100.
So let's say you want to make $100 per day. OK. Here's what you need to do:
Promote a product that will allow you to earn at least $100 per sale. Send 100 visitors to the sales page every day. At a.01% conversion... you will earn 1 sale. There's your $100 per day. If you are doing paid advertising... you want to send 200 visitors per day and spend.50 cents per visitor. That will cost you $100 for the ad. But you are making 2 sales at $100. There's your $100 per day.
Purchase an ad every day and you can make this money every day. Now that you know how to do this... you can literally scale up your business to any income your desire. Do you think you can do this?
