SAYMYNAME Presents “One Beat” Concert In Honor Of Black History Month - 2 minutes read

SAYMYNAME is putting on a massive event in Los Angeles to benefit a fantastic cause. The hard trap music producer and DJ is bringing his “One Beat” virtual concert to Exchange LA for a night of filthy bass music to fight injustice and support good causes. On February 4th, SAYMYNAME will be joined by ETC!ETC!, Dack Janiels, MADGRRL, Black Jesus, GAWM, IZADI, and JMOSS for an evening of community and charity.

SAYMYNAME is celebrating Black History Month in a positive way, thanks to the support of the Local Hearts Foundation (LHF) and Insomniac Events. The event’s goal is to raise money for a local charity while also celebrating unity and creating a platform for black creators and fans to be proud of. One Beat will donate a portion of the proceeds to the LHF, an organization dedicated to creating a culture of love and prosperity by assisting those in need through community outreach programs. In doing so, the event will also commemorate Black History Month by highlighting important social causes, all while being powered by headbanging DJ sets.

The goal of the first “SAYMYNAME Presents: One Beat” was to host a livestream focused on Black Lives Matter in the midst of the massive social call for justice reform in the summer of 2020. The event, which was also co-hosted by Insomniac, raised funds for the Los Angeles Urban League (LAUL) with the goal of sparking a discussion about the lack of minorities in the music industry. SAYMYNAME was joined in that livestream by YehMe2, the Lit Lords, BLVK JVCK, SweetTooth, and Gladez, who brought their A game in various sets, while 12th Planet showed support with empowering words on what we can do to make an impact in the world.
