Train travel can be a relaxing, low-stress way to get around the country while also catching some of it out your window during your journey.

This weekend, Amtrak is making it a little cheaper to travel by train with its annual Valentine’s Day BOGO sale. From now until February 17th, you can snag a free coach ticket with every full-price coach ticket you buy on Amtrak.

In order to take advantage of the deal, you’ll need to book both tickets at the same time. At checkout, enter the code V21. You can also get the discount without the code from booking directly on the sale page.

Here’s pricing for a few of its popular routes:

The discount is valid for travel across the national network including most long distance routes as well as the Acela, Adirondack, Carolinian/Piedmont, Cascades, Downeaster, Downstate Illinois Services, Empire Service, Ethan Allen Express, Heartland Flyer, Maple Leaf, Michigan Services, Missouri River Runner, Northeast Regional, San Joaquins, Valley Flyer, Vermonter and reserved sections of the Pennsylvanian and Keystone Service.

Tickets have to be purchased together, and they have to be in coach. Beyond that, the promotion works for all reserved service trains with the exception of the Auto Train. You also need to plan to travel between March 9 and August 30 of this year. Beyond that window, there aren’t any blackout dates.

If you haven’t traveled via Amtrak before, the train allows each passenger to bring with them two carry-on bags and two personal items at no charge, so it’s a bit more lenient than airlines. Most trains allow small pets to join you for the ride, and perhaps most importantly: there is no middle seat.

If train travel is in your plans this year, it’s definitely worth checking out your options now while you can hop on board for essentially half price.
