A tour to the capital would be incomplete without a stop at the magnificent Westminster Abbey. It is located in the Greater London district of Westminster on the grounds of an earlier Benedictine monastery and has a long history. It was reestablished in 1560 by Queen Elizabeth I and was later declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. The Abbey’s most outstanding feature is its spectacular gothic-style architecture, which is a homage to the excellent craftsmanship of bygone artists. The Abbey has witnessed several coronations and historic events throughout the years, including Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding – it is also the ultimate resting place of many noteworthy celebrities who have died.

It is interactive and thought-provoking, bringing science to life and providing a unique opportunity to see, touch, and feel it firsthand in a variety of ways. Highlights include the Soyuz TMA-19M descent module — the spaceship in which astronaut Tim Peake returned to Earth from the International Space Station – and a real part of the moon.

A dream world awaits at the Warner Brothers Studio in Watford, a popular tourist destination for both national and international visitors. Who is the show’s star? Harry Potter’s world. Visitors can relive all eight of the legendary films by exploring the sets and seeing the items and costumes that appeared in each of them on the Harry Potter Studio Tour. It’s a Harry Potter fan’s dream, from the famed Hogwarts Castle to Diagon Alley and the Eeylops Owl Emporium. You may even board the Hogwarts Express, which departs from Platform 9 ¾.

A visit to the enormous London ZSL Zoo, which houses over 650 species creatures from various ecosystems throughout the world, is a must for animal enthusiasts. It was founded in 1828 and is a terrific site to learn about environment and wildlife while also gaining some amazing facts. Coming face-to-face with Asiatic lions, meeting friendly giraffes, and witnessing feeding time with the meerkats and otters are just a few of the memorable experiences on offer here, and for children who want to get up close and personal with the animals and aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty, the Junior Keeper for the Day experience is one they’ll remember for the rest of their lives.
