Chanel Emblematique (147) Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour is a vivid, medium red with strong, cool undertones and a luminous sheen with barely-there micro-shimmer. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which adhered smoothly to my lips and glided on comfortably without being too heavy or too emollient. It stayed on nicely for six hours, left a faint stain behind, and was hydrating over time.

Chanel Independante (176) Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour is a medium red with neutral-to-warm undertones and a luminous finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable color coverage paired with a lightweight, lightly emollient consistency that was thin (though not clingy!) that sat well on my lips and was forgiving of lip texture. It lasted well for five hours and felt moisturizing over time.
