Jimmy Pé isn’t shy about referring to himself as a “broken beat explorer.” His cut-up electronica is gradually gaining a worldwide following, with The Gaslamp Killer, Flying Lotus, Baauer, Dj Craze, Tokimonsta, UZ, Lefto, Daedelus, and others among those who have taken notice. Slow Roast Records, Quality Goods Records, Saturate Records, and other labels released his music. Now, he’s back with a new single called “Pé Is Not Dead!” that is completely addictive. On this track, Pé’s studio prowess shines through, seamlessly cutting up vocal samples that fade in and out of a groovy house beat fueled by a wubby bass.

He’s also released a music video to go along with the single that’s weird, outrageous, and hypnotic all at the same time. The plot revolves around two rash, deranged killers who get their fix by murdering victims with their lethally produced music.
