Gucci’s Summer 2024 Splash: Models Dive Deep, Poolside and Underwater - 1 minute read
Subsequent to Sabato De Sarno’s decision to bring Daria Werbowy out of retirement for his inaugural campaign as Gucci’s creative director, the quality of the Italian fashion house’s campaign imagery has taken a downturn. Even with campaigns shot by renowned photographers like David Sims, Tyrell Hampton, or Anthony Seklaoui, there’s been a lack of impressive results. Seklaoui seems to be a favorite of the Italian designer, as he was once again chosen to shoot Gucci’s Summer 2024 campaign, dubbed “Lido”.
Drawing inspiration from the essence of a classic Italian vacation, the campaign transports viewers poolside alongside a selection of models, including Aboubakar Konte, Adele Aldighieri, Ana Rossolovich, Betty Schupp, Brando Erba, Camille Rowe, Gabriele Gherardi, He Cong, Jiahui Zhang, and Victoria Fawole. Styled by Alastair McKimm, the ensemble revels under the radiant sunshine, showcasing their ability to gracefully navigate underwater in the vibrant campaign.
