The music of the Crywolf project has always included aspects of introspection and self-discovery. The experiences and lessons learnt throughout the artist’s struggle with mental health have been displayed front and center throughout the song. In addition to being an exceptionally accomplished musician in his own right, the backdrop lends the song a visceral and recognizable sense.

That theme is nowhere more prominent than on his most recent album, exuvium [OBLIVION Pt. II], which was composed during a time of great upheaval. The music’s sorrow and sadness are almost palpable, with strong melodies and lyrics boiling with rage through the speakers.
