Grabbitz has never been one to follow the rules. When he released his first album, Things Change, in 2017, we were at the pinnacle of the future bass movement, with rock vocals and instruments just just breaking into electronic music. (You wouldn’t believe it with the current popularity of Sullivan King or Kayzo). His own musical background and love of rock, on the other hand, strongly inspired his creations and led us to his current album, Time Isn’t Real. On the surface, the album title is a nod to the last several years, when we were all cooped up inside and the days blurred together.

Under the surface, it might be a reference to the album’s vast range of time signatures, which keeps listeners guessing from start to end. It nearly goes without saying that Grabbitz is the one common thread running through each song. However, this does not relate to the individual, but to the brand and theme that person has built. The “Grabbitz” album experience is unlike anything else in electronic music, with pounding rhythms, gritty guitar riffs, fantastic vocals, and an irreverent love for his background.

Five tracks from the album were previously released as singles, including the hits “Pigs In The Sky” and “Pain Killer”. But you’ll soon be listening to songs like “RIP”, “Bad Lovers Suite”, and “Dying To Know You” on again. Check out the entire album down below!
