Huda Beauty Tiger Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette is a new, limited edition warm-toned neutral palette that included five matte eyeshadows and four shimmer eyeshadows. One of the shimmers seemed like a multichrome to me, actually! All nine eyeshadows were pigmented, blendable, and easy to work with. Some of the mattes were a touch powdery, but they had little to no fallout and maintained their coverage overall.

Tiger #1

Tiger #1 is a bright, sunshine yellow with warmer undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, despite the texture being a little powdery (mostly confined to the pan). It applied evenly and blended out without difficulty. The eyeshadow stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Tiger #2 is a deeper gold with strong, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The texture was moderately dense, lightly emollient, and had good adhesion to bare skin but was easiest to work with using a dampened brush or fingertip as dry application had light fallout and had to be really pressed/pushed onto the lid to get a smooth, even layer. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Tiger #3 is a deep brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It was richly pigmented with a soft, lightly powdery texture that was smooth, blendable, and had a touch of fallout during application. It lasted nicely for eight hours before showing signs of fading.

Tiger #4is a medium-dark brown with moderate, warm reddish undertones and flecks of pink and gold micro-sparkle over a metallic finish. The eyeshadow had opaque color coverage in a single pass, which adhered well to bare skin and blended out nicely with slight fallout. The consistency was moderately dense and thicker, so I did find it didn’t layer as seamlessly with the mattes (which were thinner). I would recommend using this shade with a dampened brush to minimize fallout. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Tiger #5

Tiger #5 seemed to have a more translucent base with multichrome shimmer that shifted from yellowy peach to pinky-peach. It shifted distinctively from chartreuse to orange-gold to darker pink. It seemed like a very strong duochrome at a glance and a weaker multichrome when diving into it. The texture was smooth, slightly thinner and a touch drier in the pan, and it applied best pressed onto the lid. It had mostly opaque coverage that wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Tiger #6 is a muted, medium yellow with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was lightly powdery, but it applied evenly, blended out well, and maintained its full opacity. It lasted well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Tiger #7

Tiger #7 is a bright, medium gold with moderate, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. It had opaque color coverage paired with a smooth, lightly emollient consistency that was slightly thicker and denser in the pan, but it picked up well enough with a dry brush and adhered evenly with minimal fallout. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.

Tiger #8

Tiger #8 is a darker, rosy-brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, finely-milled consistency that was slightly thin but that didn’t inhibit the application as the eyeshadow applied evenly and blended out well. This shade showed signs of fading after eight hours of wear.

Tiger #9

Tiger #9 is a bright, medium orange with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft, lightly powdery but more substantial and richer in feel compared to other matte shades in the palette. It had mostly opaque color coverage that lasted well for eight hours.
