Southwest Has Round-Trip Cross-Country Flights For as Low as $164 Today
If you’re planning a cross-country trip early next year, Southwest is running a sale you might want to check out.
The Points Guy highlighted a number of different routes that you can score a cross-country round-trip ticket for under $200 today. For instance, you can get from LAX to New Orleans for $198, LA to Orlando for $190, and Seattle to Chicago for $164.
Travel dates need to be between January and March of next year.
Unlike most other fare deals, since these are on Southwest, they’re also changeable and refundable. That means if a better deal comes along, you can swap the ticket for a different one. Or if your travel plans change and you decide you’d like to travel at a different time you can make that happen.
One thing to note is that refund will come in the form of a Southwest credit, so once you buy a ticket that cash will have to be used to fly on Southwest, although it doesn’t necessarily have to happen when you book this original ticket for.
If you’re thinking about a trip, it’s worth checking the airline’s offerings for it today to see if you can snag a deal. And as always, make sure you’re checking other airline prices as well for the same dates. While these are definitely discounted Southwest flights, that doesn’t mean another airline might not offer you a better deal on the same route.
